Under supervision from the Regional Inplant Manager the Regional Inplant Support Representative is responsible for performing inplant operations including color matching, blending, and producing. Responsibilities also include quality control of inks made and used at the customer location that include Paste, Water based, and Solvent Flexographic ink. This role also provides press side technical assistance, order materials and manage inventory. Acts as liaison between the customer and Sun Chemical. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provides manufacturing and operational support to Sun Chemical inplants in the Wisconsin, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas area(s). Performs all inplant duties, including batch production, color matching, inventory management, formula management, site specific reporting, and Sun Chemical reporting. Learns, and complies with all safety requirements, including the use of PPE, safe material handling, MSDS management, housekeeping, and general safety procedures. Implements Sun Chemical inplant procedures, and the best practices as directed by Inplant Manager, Regional Inplant Operations Manager, or Senior CTS Technicians. Performs inplants assessments (audit) at inplants in this region as directed by the Regional Inplant Operations Manager. Participates in transitional activities related to new business opportunities, or capital projects within the region at the direction of senior CTS Technicians, and the Regional Inplant Operations Manager.
