Position Summary:
Responsible for evaluating, recommending, and implementing WMS options and integrated WMS systems and processes across Ahold Delhaize America. Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance Logistics processes and reporting. Collaborates across all Ahold Delhaize America banners in support of each company's unique business strategies. Collaborates with internal and external partners to guide, provide expertise, and recommend solutions that highlight cost and other holistic impacts and trade-offs to the Ahold Delhaize America Supply Chain. Provides analytical expertise and guidance for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals. Provides system support across the Logistics Systems team for TMS and yard management.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively work with cross-functional teams across multiple operating companies for the implementaion of WMS system.
- Evaluate, analyze, and recommend cross-functional WMS solutions that align Ahold Delhaize America Supply Chain strategy with individual business objectives.
- Collaborates in the discovery of Supply Chain opportunities throughout a combined Ahold Delhaize America network.
- Participates in the development of alternate product channels utilizing sound research and design methodology, as well as, the development and implementation of programs to improve operating processes.
- Facilitates continuous improvement conversations at all levels throughout the organization.
- Collaborates with internal and external partners (IT, Suppliers, Distribution, Transportation, Category, Retail, 3rd Party Providers) to design and implement strategies and tactics to reduce total landed cost, while developing a more consumer driven network.
- Is a company expert on industry WMS activities, changes, and trends.
- Meet with impacted departments concerning goals, priorities and technical concerns.
- Provide support for motivating peers and function as an effective promoter of change and growth.
- Provide support for the implementation of a continuous improvement culture
- Serve as a member of key teams and committees as needed
- Responsible for the development, talent planning and performance management of self.
- Provide system support across the Supply Chain team for TMS and yard management solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, finance, supply chain or related field - or 5 years industry experience in in supply chain, distribution operations, inventory management, sourcing, business analytics and/or logistics or analytical experience
- Demonstrated ability to transform data from multiple sources into actionable business intelligence
- Collaboration experience with vendors, transportation providers, and third-party vendors
- Six Sigma, APICS, CPM, or other analytical or supply chain oriented certification/training
- Organizational change management experience and understanding of the value of business process change relating to people, process and policies
- Experience with the following computer programs: SEGA, BICEPS, DSS, LlamaSoft, WMS, PFT, Inforem, Tableau, Revionics, MSP, PowerBI, Automation
- Experience with transportation management systems (Manhattan TLM, NCR YMS)
- Demonstrate a personal acceptance of change and the ability to adapt and drive change
- Demonstrate an ability to implement and analyze retail business using consumer insights and analyzing trends.
