This role collaborates closely with workshop management to facilitate the overhaul or repair of customer equipment, coordinates parts ordering, and assists in staging and setup tasks. Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator conducts regular safety inspections, manages preventive maintenance for work equipment, and ensures compliance with safety standards during contractor engagements. The position also supports field service work by managing the shipment and collection of company or third-party equipment, tools, materials, and parts required for field operations. Essential Responsibilities: 1. Manage day-to-day logistics activities within the warehouse, including the handling, storage, and shipment of products, equipment, and customer property. 2. Oversee and optimize all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring timely and accurate processing of outbound and inbound shipments, including scheduling, documentation, and carrier coordination. 3. Inspect shipments to confirm order accuracy, proper packaging, and labeling, especially for exported goods, and ensure all procedures meet regulatory and customer-specific requirements. 4. Maintain and enhance inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking, performance reporting, and operational efficiency. 5. Work with logistics team members to identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy in logistics operations. 6. Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory safety standards. 7. Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, order management, and accounting to integrate logistics with broader business operations and align with organizational goals. 8. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to transportation, logistics, imports, or exports, maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction. 9. Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area, implementing security measures and maintaining a safe working environment. 10. Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support the logistics department and company operations, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of logistics processes including advanced storage, distribution, and transportation of goods. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, security protocols, and legal requirements related to logistics and transportation. Proficiency in logistics software, warehouse management systems, and inventory control principles, including forecasting and stocking strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics operations. Good verbal and written communication skills for collaboration within and outside the department. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in logistics, business administration, or related field preferred. 2 – 4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with increasing responsibility in managing inventory and logistics processes. Experience with logistics software and systems. Conditions of Employment: Must hold a valid passport OR can obtain a passport within 6 months of hire. Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. New employees will be required to successfully pass employment verification checks. You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs. Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials. This position may be subject to work an uncommon schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet company or customer requirements. Overtime and/or unusual duty hours may be required. This position may require some travel for training, customer visits, and/or occasional off-site project support.
