Job Purpose Summary:

As the Social Media Manager at JustFoodForDogs, your pivotal role is to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of our social media strategy. You will be instrumental in enhancing our brand's digital footprint and strengthening customer relationships through compelling content, community engagement, and strategic campaigns across various social media platforms. In addition to curating engaging posts and visuals, you will leverage analytics to measure performance, derive actionable insights, and continuously refine our social media approach. Your analytical mindset and proficiency with social media analytics tools will be crucial in optimizing campaigns, maximizing return on investment, and identifying emerging trends to stay ahead in the competitive pet food market.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
  • Define the most important social media KPIs.
  • Manage and oversee social media content.
  • Measure the success of social media campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Sprout Social, etc.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Manage and implement influencer strategy.
  • Direct social media and influencer agencies.
  • Manage social media coordinator.


KEY SUCCESS FACTORS OF IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Google+, and other social media best practices.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Some level of photography and video creation skills - enough to create basic content for our social media channels.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND COMPENSATION
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Social Media Manager or similar role.
