About the Role:
We are seeking a Staff Engineer with up to 5 years of experience in structural engineering. This role involves a broad range of activities including design, consulting, report writing, drafting, and conducting forensic studies, seismic evaluations, and condition assessments. Candidates with a background in diverse structural engineering materials and markets are encouraged to apply, as ongoing training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural engineering design and consulting.
- Write reports and perform drafting and design tasks.
- Engage in forensic studies, seismic evaluations, and condition assessments.
- Utilize diverse engineering materials in projects, contributing to various market sectors.
Requirements:
- EIT required and PE is preffered.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Fundamental knowledge in steel, concrete, wood structural analysis, and seismic analysis/design; additional experience in seismic design is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Office Suite and AutoCAD or Revit.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical skills, organizational abilities, and work ethic.
- A strong desire and aptitude to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.
