Position Summary:

The Fleet Safety Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Fleet Operations, collaborates with the Fleet Coordinator, EH&S, Risk Management teams, and HR Business Partners to ensure compliance with safety policies. This role involves communicating across all levels and departments to promote safe driving behaviors, conduct training, investigate incidents, manage vehicle assignments, and achieve targeted safety goals.

Compensation Range: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour

Schedule: Sun - Thu 10:00am - 7:00pm MST

Work environment: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the administrator for our dash camera system keeping all content up to date, providing technical support for all levels/departments, implementing process and training improvements
  • Monitor daily dash camera events for validity, escalating significant issues to Management as necessary.
  • Promote safe driving practices and accountability to policies through collaboration with HR Business Partners
  • Provide oversight for incident investigations, development of corrective action plans/training and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence
  • Manage dash camera installation, swap, removal by collaborating with Director of Fleet Operations based on new unit delivery, reallocation of existing fleet, and/or cycling of units
  • Ensure timely reporting and claims management for automotive liability
  • Provide fleet coverage assistance to Fleet team in event Director of Fleet Operations or Fleet Coordinator is out of office
  • Assist with fleet coordinator coverage throughout the week when needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the fleet operations team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with extensive experience using email and Microsoft Teams for professional communication
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office products
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a remote setting
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences
  • Experience in creating, writing, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Eagerness to learn and develop in Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), Risk Management, and Fleet management
  • Proficient in using and training associates on various web-based portals and phone applications remotely
  • Solid understanding of safe driving practices
  • Strong advocate for assuming positive intent in all interactions
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to solve complex problems
  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities effectively based on business needs.

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
