Job Overview:

The Customer Service team is looking for a new colleague to join as the Accessory Program Specialist. This colleague will play a key role in maintaining the Port Accessory Program for the US and Canada while also supporting the Accessory Product Manager in the development and management of the overall Accessory busines. Additionally, this role is a key collaborator with our US Sales Regions, Distribution Centers and fellow colleagues in Sweden. We also look for this role to to further define, develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of new Accessory offers into the program designed to optimize accessories revenue, market share, and customer retention.

Primary Responsibilities:

As the Accessory Program Specialist, you will mainly support our US and Canadian Port Installed Accessories Programs, which allows the installation of accessories on Volvo cars at the entry port before delivery to Volvo Retailers and our customers. The program creates a best-in-class customer experience, and you will play a critical role by supporting the following:

Ensure product availability throughout the entire supply chain in support of the Port Accessory Program for US and Canada
Parts planning, including but not limited to identifying accessories, new model launch activities, developing business cases for new opportunities
Forecasting and inventory management to help maximize supply chain efficiency and profitability in close partnership with our team members in Sweden, US and Canada.
Proactively review key performance indicators to ensure the program meets all targets and continuously implement efficiency improvements when necessary
Monitor Port Inventory Management System and inventory at the ports to determine if transfers, adjustments, etc. are necessary
Coordinate special quality upgrade projects

You will also have exposure to the Retailer Installed Accessories Program by supporting the following:
Assist in the design and execution of a growth strategy for the Retailer Installed Accessories channel by launching new sales programs and maximizing accessory awareness through communication channels
In collaboration with internal stakeholders, design and implement retail programs, tools, and promotions to provide the best customer experience while maximizing revenue and the overall customer experience.
Explore and identify new accessory opportunities by understanding current market trends, technological advancements, consumer needs, and gaps in the existing market.
Support marketing campaigns for vehicle accessories including strategic planning, creative messaging, and targeted distribution

Key Competencies and Qualities:

A colleague will be successful in this role by bringing to the table A bachelor's degree university within a discipline requiring a strong analytical aptitude such as business administration, economics, or supply chain management

It would be a benefit to have an understanding of the automotive business including vehicles sales, service, parts and the accessory business, typically gained through 3 years of applicable experience
You showcase Excellent interpersonal relationships but also have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
You also thrive in working autonomy but also not slowing down when needing to pivot and adapt to the ever-changing business
It is also a huge benefit that you have full Advance level of Microsoft Suite and Prior experience with AS400 mainframe systems will be an additional bonus.
Ability to create PowerPoint presentations by effectively communicating your message, engaging your audience, and making your presentation memorable.
The ability to develop and deliver presentations to both small and larger groups.
