Accounting Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Accounting Clerk at Kansas City Steaks Company would be expected to manage the preparation & preliminary analysis of daily reports while balancing other filing responsibilities. The effective fulfillment of this role would include identifying & communicating errors with other departments in a timely manner to meet deadlines. And the role would also require the timely submission of purchase orders for payment and a willingness to help with other tasks as needed.

Position Responsibilities

  • The complete invoicing process, daily verification of sales orders & invoice paperwork
  • Compiling & submitting payables documents, including resolving late payments
  • Preparing multiple daily & weekly efficiency reports
  • Communicating employee deductions or reimbursements with payroll
  • Various task involving data entry
  • Maintaining files
  • Supporting controller & other team members as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

This is an on-site position.

Qualified candidates for the Accounting Clerk position should possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Entry level position

  • Organized, ability to meet daily deadlines

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel & Outlook

  • Ability to communicate with multiple departments
