And, culture fit is key. Our solo marketer will be working across all teams at Neon - Sales, Customer Service, Tech, Exec team, Board members - so, they should be great relationship builders. You have to love what you do, work well with minimal direction, and be a team player. Roles and Responsibilities: Content creation and deployment Create and deploy web content on a regular basis Create and run social media posts on a regular cadence, as well as for special events like conferences, etc. Develop collateral quickly for varying audiences and needs Develop email templates and emails for varying audiences and needs Marketing planning and execution Develop a marketing calendar and plan out the cadence of marketing campaigns by quarter Develop an email marketing campaign with a through understanding of the audience targets Develop ad-hoc emails as needed for participation in conferences, and other sales events Paid media management Create and deploy social media ads across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and others as strategically determined. Develop an inbound marketing campaign strategy and execute against it to achieve target annual goals Test a PPC campaign specifically to generate leads for sales Monitor and report on performance at a regular cadence Conference and Event Management Plan, organize and execute details for every conference Neon is signed up for Attend and represent Neon at conference booths as needed Liaise with clients, partners, conference management and other vendors as needed to plan for a successful conference, maximize Neon’s participation and visibility and differentiate from competitors Work directly with the CEO to showcase Neon’s brand in a relevant and compelling manner for each conference as appropriate Be creative with on-brand and within budget giveaways that make an impact Research and recommend future relevant conferences Reporting Basic reporting on website performance, specifically web traffic and lead generation, paid social media ads, and email performance Market Research Have a thorough understanding of the industries Neon services and targets Understand the audiences in each industry and their decision-making triggers Keep a finger on the pulse of competition Provide regular updates to the Sales and relevant teams on competitor intelligence Brand Standards development and maintenance Work directly with CEO to develop and maintain brand standards and guidelines for Neon Work with CEO to evolve brand guidelines over time as needed Ensure all external facing material meets brand standards and guidelines Required Qualifications & Skills: Basic webpage design skills Experience with a web content management system like webflow, wordpress, or similar Canva or similar creative template creation capabilities Experience with a SaaS company is plus Experience in a startup is a plus HubSpot experience and certification a plus Webflow experience a plus Attention to detail Stellar communicator, both written and verbal Strong time and project management skills Quick learner Strong eye for design
