IT Operations Manager/Referent/Specialist

The IT Operations Specialist will serve as the IT Operations Manager/Referent/Specialist for the Customer's parent organization, working with IT Operations teams to ensure regular updates, after-hours support, and operational reporting. They will review change requests, coordinate code approvals, and be the point of contact for changes to operational directives. The specialist will also monitor IT Operations, facilitate weekly meetings, and ensure teams are tracking and completing compliance activities.

Introduction:

1. Serve as the IT Operations Referent for the Customer's parent organization
2. Work with IT Operations teams to ensure regular updates and after-hours support
3. Provide operational reporting for daily meetings and senior leadership status meetings
4. Review change requests for accuracy and completion
5. Coordinate elevated code approvals and represent changes at the daily Change Approval Board
6. Be the point of contact for changes to operational directives
7. Ensure teams have appropriate approvals during elevated infrastructure color codes
8. Review each team's outage and resolution reports
9. Monitor IT Operations on-site and after-hours
10. Design a protocol for sending and receiving operational status updates
11. Facilitate a weekly IT Operations meeting and provide updates
12. Ensure teams are tracking and completing compliance activities

Role:

1. Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow's ITSM module, including maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), tracking Incidents, and creating or approving Change Requests.
2. Demonstrated experience as an Ops Manager for a portfolio that includes upwards of 50 systems

Nice to Have:

1. Demonstrated experience configuring cloud services on the Customer's systems.
2. Demonstrated experience using requirements-tracking programs such as JIRA or Confluence.
3. Demonstrated experience with DevOps-related tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
4. Demonstrated experience with the Nitro CI/CD Pipeline.
5. Demonstrated experience architecting solutions with Azure, Google, IBM, and Oracle CSPs.
6. Demonstrated experience performing accessibility scoring.
7. Demonstrated experience with hybrid cloud solutions.
8. Demonstrated experience with low to high development /deployment.
9. Demonstrated experience serving as an ISSM.
10. Demonstrated experience with AI/ML products.
11. Demonstrated experience with multi-cloud solutions.
12. Demonstrated experience creating dashboards with Power BI.
13. Demonstrated experience participating in programs to evaluate new technologies and determine their mission value and security posture related to the Customer's requirements.
14. Demonstrated knowledge of Raise-the-Bar standards concerning enterprise cross-domain.
15. Demonstrated experience developing dashboards in ServiceNow, Tableau or PowerBI.
16. Current relevant Cloud / Security certifications.
17. Higher level degree in a technical field or MBA
