YOUR ROLE As a Stio Mountain Studio Retail Lead, you are part of our store team providing exceptional customer service each day. As a keyholder in a full-time hourly role, you share responsibility for opening and closing duties, support new employee shift training, and provide leadership in finding solutions for customers. You are expected to deliver an exceptional level of customer service, which includes but is not limited to knowledge of our brand story and products, customer engagement, and selling. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining visual merchandising standards, supporting inventory receiving and stocking processes, and helping maintain an organized store and back stock. This role is performed in our Mountain Studio retail location. The Mountain Studio Retail Lead must live within a reasonable commute of our Boston, MA Mountain Studio. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Work alongside a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience Team-oriented and able to maintain a positive attitude Multitask while prioritizing the customer experience Coordinate same-day response needs to scheduling coverage Provide feedback and guidance with the team to align with store, service, and role expectations Oversee and support all opening and closing duties in the absence of Managers Utilize point of sale (POS) systems to research products and complete transactions YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required Flexibility to work opening, closing, weekend, holiday season shifts Self-starter proactive with tackling daily tasks, handling customer interactions, and communicating with your managers on a daily basis Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive space for every person who enters the Mountain Studio Computer proficiency and POS experience, Microsoft Office Suite skills preferred Email and phone communication skills required High School Diploma or GED preferred THE FINE PRINT Hourly Rate: $20-$24 DOE Full-time (30-40 weekly hours), hourly, non-exempt Medical, Dental, Vision plans 401K with match Seasonal gear test allowance Generous employee discount, holiday pay, industry perks, and more Employee Assistance Program Company Paid Long-Term Disability Must be able to move around the retail space for 8-12 hours per day Must be able to move items upwards of 50 lbs, occasionally traverse ladders This job description is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job.
