Overview:

This role is a full stack developer who provides the technical expertise for the implementation and maintenance of masking for PHI, PCI and PI data. They will provide insight and practical knowledge towards the development of new environment management standards and best practices as we move towards a more cloud centric and ephemeral approach to our environments. Lastly, this resource will work with a small team of developers to build a new AWS dashboard capable of integrating with other tools/aps to provide pertinent environment/release metrics across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage and support product/service/platform delivery teams in environment needs.
  • Weigh the pros and cons of cloud vs on-prem and physical vs virtual to Architect and Deliver cost effective solutions for non-prod environments (test, UAT, dev, performance).
  • Analyze environment requirements and document underlying components to appropriate standards.
  • Work with Infrastructure to manage capacity constraints (storage, memory, processors)
  • Provide technical consultancy on environments and software deployment expertise on underlying infrastructure, technologies, and tools.
  • Work with DevSecOps to design automated deployment solutions in alignment with environment requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives keeping abreast of industry trends, implementing best practices, evaluating new tools, building automation, and upgrading underlying technologies.
  • Work with Cloud Ops and architecture to Drive ephemeral, Cloud first solutions where possible.
  • Implement and maintain Data Masking tools as an enterprise solution.
  • Provide technical mentorship to a small team of developers in building AWS dashboards capable of integrating with other tools/apis to automate data ingestion.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years experience working with SDLC, environment management and associated tools / methodologies.
  • 7+ years experience in architecting/building public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc).
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with automation, orchestration, and system configuration tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform)
  • 2+ years architecting/building RESTful APIs.
  • 2+ years Experience in leading environment management practices at enterprise level.
  • 2+ years experience with API Management platform (Mulesoft or Apigee, IBM APIC)
  • 2+ years experience with environment management tools (e.g. Delphix, Launch Darkly, Protegrity, etc)

Education: B.S in Computer Science, related field of sturdy or quivalent work experience

Preferred Work Experience:

  • 2 + years experience in Site Reliability Engineering/ DevSecOps is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience implementing TDM solutions is a plus

Skills:

  • In depth understanding of data masking practices / tools (Delphix, Protegrity, Sentry, etc) is required.
  • Strong desire to innovate, exploring what matters to customers and creating solutions that make a positive difference.
  • Strong cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) development and maintenance capabilities.
  • Superior listening and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve complex problems
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to lead and mentor other technical resources
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to use oral and written methods to communicate effectively
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
