Community Housing Services, Inc is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Director for a 99-unit senior high-rise apartment building, located in Salt Lake City, UT.This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. Position Purpose: To assist the Property Director in being responsible for the overall management, administration, and operation of a site-specific housing program to ensure the Company mission objectives are met.

Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: 1. Perform duties of the Property Director in his/her absence. 2. Ensure accounting procedures, forms and reports are performed and discussed with the Director. 3. Assist in interviewing applicants for occupancy utilizing all required HUD and CHS policies/procedures and required timelines. 4. Collect, prepare, verify all information and forms for HUD 50059 and HAP requests. 5. Assist Director/Service Coordinator in arranging, coordinating, and conducting monthly resident meetings, social activities for residents, etc. 6. Supervise resident volunteers, develop, and assign work responsibilities, maintain and supervise work hours. 7. Assist residents, vendors and visitors as needed. 8. Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. 9. Other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications Job Requirements/Competencies: 1. Customer service skills to handle complex immediate issues. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Computer skills to create reports for Director. 4. Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information Education/Experience: High school diploma. Three (3) years of previous experience in Property Management preferred. Experience with Fair Housing, ADA preferred.
