The Opportunity:

We're looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

As an IT business analyst, you'll be a critical piece of the team tasked with building a proprietary tool suite in support of pricing proposals. Partnering with developers, testers, business analysts, and subject matter experts, you'll identify clients' business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You'll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you'll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you'll deliver high business value products in support of pricing analysts and client staff in their efforts to submit clear and accurate Price Proposals to our clients.

You Have:

  • Experience identifying options for process improvement, including business process modeling
  • Experience identifying and communicating with key stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft 365, SQL, and Jira
  • Ability to gather, review, and analyze business and industry data using analytics tools
  • Ability to liaise between various business departments and groups
  • Ability to develop and maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems Management, or Finance

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
  • Experience with industry technology systems to gather data
  • Knowledge of software development and testing strategies
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements, and operational decisions
  • Ability to be resourceful and problem-solve effectively
  • Possession of excellent communication and leadership skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
