Currently we are seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join our Retail Software Engineering team. As a member of the Software Engineering team, you will work to ensure we deliver a quality solution to our internal customers. You will be responsible for performing the detailed tasks outlined below.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop test automation frameworks.
  • Automating test scenarios using the frameworks.
  • Knowing and using design patterns where appropriate.
  • Setting up the infrastructure to run tests:
  • Running tests in CI/CD.
  • Running tests in parallel.
  • Running tests with the appropriate test data.
  • Setting up dashboards for reporting test results in real time.
  • Teaching others good quality and testing practices.
  • Review/Test user stories to ensure they meet the acceptance criteria prior to User Acceptance Testing.
  • Work with the business to prioritize initiatives.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Review business processes and develop optimization strategies around our testing methodologies.
  • Developing tools to assist in manual and exploratory testing.
  • Work on automating manually driven processes with the Retail space
What You'll Need:
  • Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.
  • Must be a hardworking individual who is detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET, Java or other programming languages.
  • Experienced in working within an "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology.
  • Knowledge about various test methods & corresponding tools like MS Test, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, etc.
  • Exposure to Behavior Driven Development or Test-Driven Development
  • Able to find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code with the help of automation tools.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
  • Be extremely curious and experimental on how to resolve automation issues.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar position.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams.
  • Excellent people and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
