Responsibilities include providing input and technical support on projects, adhering to good engineering practices and company standards, and contributing to the development and delivery of detailed documentation. The role demands a team player approach to project execution and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. You will also perform other duties as required.
Hard Skills
+ Familiarity with current technologies used in automation engineering applications
+ Documentation, programming, simulation, testing, and commissioning support
+ I/O checkout with minimal supervision
+ Ability to read and modify system architecture, wiring, and panel drawings
+ PC hardware and software maintenance
+ Basic panel design and specification of components
+ Technical writing, including testing plan creation
+ Engineering critical thinking and independent problem solving
+ Understanding of process
+ SCADA application development using InTouch, RSView, and other software toolsets

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Overland Park, Kansas.
Work Environment
The position is based in a regular office environment with exposure to moderate noise. It requires the ability to independently work in and navigate around construction sites, including working at heights, climbing ladders, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. The role also involves working in Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Specialty Chemical manufacturing facilities with exposure to chemicals, strong smells, loud noises, and extremes of temperature. Travel, including extended driving, and the ability to sit for extended periods for data entry and telephone communication are also part of the job.
