Junior Administrative Assistant (6-12 months contract) - possibility to go perm.

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $21-23 hourly during the contract

Eligible for Benefits after 60 days of contract

One of our clients in the Bank and Financial industry is seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of Bankers (Analyst to Junior VP level). This role involves working within a team of assistants to support bankers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and conference calls across time zones
  • Manage banker calendars, emails, and phone calls
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including visas, accommodations, and transport
  • Process expenses and invoices accurately and promptly
  • Provide additional support on ad hoc tasks and daily team needs
  • Offer coverage for phone/holiday schedules as required

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills across all levels (in-person, phone, email)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently
  • Friendly, team-oriented with a customer-service mindset
  • Experience: 0-1 years in administrative support or customer service
