A services organization in New Jersey is looking to add a new Change Management Consultant to their growing team.

Responsibilities Include:

Develop Change Management Strategies :

  • Create comprehensive strategies for managing change initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders to ensure that change management initiatives align with the overall organizational strategy and ensuring changes are effectively integrated into the company culture
  • Administer change readiness and adoption surveys to assess the organization's readiness for change
  • Act as a strategic advisor by providing insights and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of change initiatives
Communication Planning and Execution :
  • Design and implement effective communication strategies to inform, engage, and motivate employees about changes, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the change process
  • Comfortably communicate with executive-level stakeholders and large audiences
  • Possess strong presentation skills to convey change management strategies, progress, and outcomes effectively
Software Systems Proficiency:
  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in various software systems, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other relevant tools
  • Collaborate with the necessary departments to ensure seamless integration of technological solutions and systems to support change implementation
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to understand their perspectives, concerns, and needs
  • Identify, prepare, and implement processes that promote active engagement and collaboration among stakeholders
  • Actively participate on project teams, ensuring that change management activities are integrated into project plans
  • Provide direct support and coaching to project teams as they navigate transition, and to identify and implement process improvements
  • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms to sustain positive changes and celebrate successes throughout the organization
  • Perform any other duties as required to contribute to the success of change management initiatives and overall organizational objectives
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field required
  • At least 3-5 years in Human Resources and/or related field in supporting executive leadership
  • 1 year of HR data analytics preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to put a project plan together, meet timelines and work with cross- functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to see trends and use data to drive decision making
  • Ability to understand the big picture business dynamics contribute to strategy development and translate to people plans
  • Ability to build strong personal relationships with Executive leaders and act as trusted sounding board to challenge and help frame leaders' thinking
  • Strong communicator with forward thinking, proactive leadership characteristics. Strong collaborator - both personally and as a leader, fostering collaboration and dealing with ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively

Certifications:
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification preferred but not required
