Technology Consultants are responsible for the implementation and configuration of the technical infrastructure including web applications, layered software, hardware platform and operating systems. The Technology Consultant regularly consults with clients on best practices, issue resolution and experience guidance in order to improve the performance/reliability of client's technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to analyze business requirements and technical design documents
  • Create manual/automated test scripts by leveraging requirements documentations (i.e. wireframes, and comps).
  • Perform test execution of manual/automated scripts for applications under testing
  • Log and manage defects in defect tracking system including Troubleshoot and track defects
  • Participate in team meetings, works well with both internal and Client team members
  • Contribute to weekly status reports, interact with clients and vendors as needed
  • Assists the QA lead in all activities related to QA.
  • Ensure test automation is feasible during development life cycle.
  • Helps establish project test strategy, methodologies and test plans.
  • Maintains regular client communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to project discoveries, kickoff, proposal preparation and statements of work following company standards.
  • Assists in the creation of test plans, attend defect triage meetings or lead meetings if needed
  • Assist with deliverables for meeting critical path milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of software testing experience
  • Possesses advanced level of business, technical, or functional knowledge
  • Experience with Web Services automation tools using SoapUI, Postman and Rest Assured and etc
  • Hands-on expertise using Selenium and similar automation frameworks is a must
  • Previous experience testing API's (discovery testing, usability testing, security testing and documentation)
    Ability to read code and participate in code reviews, experience in automating at UI/AP/database level using appropriate tools
  • Knowledge of the technical stack in an n-tier application and the ability to identify different types of testing that can be applied in each tier
  • Understanding of Software Test Lifecycle (STLC), knowledge of Agile and iterative development methodologies
  • Familiar with JIRA or similar defect tracking tool
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • BS in Computer Science (or related field) is desired. Candidates with significant relevant work experience may also be considered
  • Experience working with external clients
  • Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiar with any other platform i.e., AEM, Sitecore, salesforce is a plus
