Work location will be hybrid remote with 2-3 days a week in our downtown global headquarters in Austin, Texas. In the Senior Accountant role, you will: Monthly Close and General Ledger. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including preparation of journal entries and analysis against historicals and budget. Financial Reporting. Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Accounts Receivable. You’ll support the order-to-cash function by ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of customer contracts, invoices, and payments. Reconciliations. On a monthly basis, you will conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger maintenance as well as be responsible for reconciling assigned balance sheets and income statement accounts. Process Improvement. Identify process/control weaknesses and work independently to find resolutions. You’ll maintain company accounting procedures and processes and ensure compliance of all internal processes and systems. Information Preparation. You’ll lead the preparation of financial information for taxes, sales tax (including GST or other foreign tax), regulatory agencies, and necessary stakeholders. Audit and Tax Returns. You’ll partner with the CFO on our external audit and tax returns.

Who you are: 4-7+ years of prior accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or Software. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Big 4/Public accounting experience preferred. CPA certification preferred. Must have an excellent understanding of GAAP, how to reconcile balance sheet accounts, create loan amortization worksheets, manage fixed asset entries and depreciation, record sales tax and liability adjustments. Strong understanding of Accrual Basis accounting: Prepaid Expenses, Accrued Expenses, and Deferred Revenue needs to be tracked and adjusted monthly. ASC 606 Experience preferred. Strong attention to detail & critical thinking. Experience with cloud-based accounting software and advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with QuickBooks online or other widely used online ERP preferred. Growth mindset, positive energy and the ability to work well with others. To Apply:
