What you'll do

This position is responsible for the global management and execution of the Cisco's Consolidation, Acquisition Accounting, and Americas Controllership functions, including all activities in the areas of: leading global close process, acquisition integration, and governance over all Americas legal entities. This role also requires leadership and accountability for the development and implementation of global, cross-functional, and critical initiatives. Who you'll work with

Key Roles & Responsibilities: Provide leadership over the global consolidation, acquisition accounting, and Americas controllership functions to include: accounting and operational quality and efficiency improvements in execution and improving financial close management Partner with the Cisco IT organization and Finance Transformation Office (FTO) on the companywide transformational and Finance roadmaps, and partnering across the Global Accounting & Reporting (GAR) team on these projects Design, improve and advise on best practices for accounting processes and controls across different functional areas Develop and regularly review strategic initiatives, structural and operational capabilities, operating policies, processes and business metrics consistent with GAR's objectives, and ensuring their implementation on a global basis Ensure all necessary business and compliance controls are implemented, managed and documented Management of the team budget Career development of key resources with a focus on leadership and technical skills. Key Skills & Capabilities:

Strong executive management capabilities Excellent leadership skills and experience Excellent communication and partnership skills Strong leadership, change management and organizational skills Acquisition integration experience Strong internal controls and compliance experience in a global operations environment Our minimum requirements for this role:
