Job Overview

The Coordinator of Academic Partnerships will support the coordination of all academic partnerships in order to prepare underrepresented and diverse students for health professions careers and to meet the organization's strategic workforce needs. The Coordinator of Academic Partnerships will support relationships with academic institutions to promote clinical and non-clinical experiential learning opportunities for pre-health professions students. The Coordinator will support the development and coordination of all Teaching Institution Agreements, including compliance, evaluation, and placement. The Coordinator will coordinate day-to-day staff, intern, and preceptor engagement activities, ensuring compliance. The Coordinator will coordinate data collection and reporting, and maintain tracking and evaluation of student interns. The Coordinator will recruit & retain pre-health professions student interns and will coordinate job preparedness and job placement support. In addition, the coordinator will be part of a team that is instrumental in the onboarding of all learners to the organization by moving learners through the process, and provide input on improvements and efficiency in the process. The Coordinator will provide efficient, compliant customer service-oriented services.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college of university program in, Public Health, Health Administration, School Counseling, Social Work, Education or other related health or social science field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience with workforce development, career development, case management, student programming or university recruiting programs with diverse, underrepresented student populations with an emphasis on graduate programs and/or medical school required.
3. Experience working with students with a variety of academic interests and abilities
4. Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
