This role will heavily use a combination of our internal ERP software and a third-party data collection software to generate reports from our database structure. In addition to data analysis and reporting, the Sales& Pricing Analyst will perform administrative tasks in the above software packages.

Role Responsibilities

Provide National Sales Team and Management teams with sales reporting

Develop monthly cadence of pricing specific measures to review (NBC, DA Budget, Price 2.0)

Effectively launch, track, and monitor new and existing item price groups in Price 2.0 to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting via internal ERP system

Provide daily/weekly inventory reports for CA. Assist in tracking incoming purchase orders and open sales orders

Update internal ERP system – have a pulse on new hires/new accounts/account changes

Assist in updating weekly CPR’s – competitive pricing reports

Provide insight and analysis on sales trends – using Excel and PowerPoint

Use Sage data to find opportunity gaps for district managers/sales representatives/territories as needed by sales management

Assist in the development of sales goals and forecasts for the California sales team (monthly & annually). Assist in goal tracking and reporting, including monthly incentives and KPIs

Analyze top brand performance in Sage, highlight important up and down trends and recommend action where necessary

Weekly and monthly distribution (POD) reporting

Manage specific ad hoc projects from start to finish, representing the interests of Sales Management and Operations, such as applicable trackers with supporting SOPs to ensure teams in the future can replicate the task

Use third-party data and information systems to generate reports and perform general analyses

Job Requirements

4 Year College Degree Required

3+ years’ experience in the CPG space (Distributor/Wholesaler/Supplier preferred)

Experience in the beverage/alcohol industry preferred

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

Understands how to use information systems – Sage X3 / Vermont Information Processing (VIP)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Highly motivated to learn new information systems and data structures
