Job Summary: As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. Your primary duties will include balancing the day's financial activities and providing guest services. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit and Balance Financial Transactions: Reconcile and balance all accounts for the hotel, including guest charges, room revenues, and payments. Ensure accurate and complete financial records.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Generate and distribute daily reports, including the daily revenue report, credit card transaction summaries, and other necessary reports for management.
  • Guest Services: Assist with late check-ins, check-outs, and respond to guest inquiries and requests during overnight hours. Provide information about the hotel, its services, and local attractions.
  • Process Reservations: Handle and process room reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the hotel management system.
  • Set Up for the Next Day: Prepare the hotel for the next day's operations by coordinating with other departments, ensuring accurate room statuses, and preparing guest folios for morning check-outs.
  • Handle Emergencies: Respond to emergency situations following hotel protocols and ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management, such as light housekeeping or setting up breakfast stations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    • Proficient with computers and hotel management software.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
