A DAY IN THE LIFE Our Sr. Civil Environmental Engineer with Design experience, position islocated in Nashville, TN. As a key member of the team, this role will be responsible for a full rangeof activities including: Plans multiple projects simultaneously including being the senior technicallead on a project, supervising engineering professionals, staff levelengineers, technicians, and CAD professionals. Responsible for estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meetingcompletion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of firmstandards Coordinates the day-to-day operations of technical staff assigned toprojects by assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy ofwork, directing efforts and providing technical guidance. Oversees development of project document deliverable outlines and layouts,technical writing of reports, data interpretation, and development ofgraphical presentations in a logical and professional manner. Consults with clients to prepare plans, reports, and assessments. Exercises judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, andsubstantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, proceduresand criteria Responsible for project budget and hours and utilizes time effectively tocomplete tasks within assigned timeframe(s) Acts as a client manager to understand customer needs and distributes workassignments and proposals to appropriate teams Communicates to leadership when potential issues are foreseen or potentialissues arise that may inhibit performing tasks within the allotted scheduleand budget Oversees project set up and authorization paperwork to include: projectauthorizations, contracts, subcontracts, purchase order requests, andproject schedules Oversees project financial management duties to include: projectprojections, project invoicing, subcontractor invoice approvals,progress reporting, and project/subcontractor contract compliance. Maintain confidentiality at all times Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHAregulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs Participate in the company's continuous improvement programs and providesupport to team efforts Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formaltraining, reviewing professional publications, and attending professionalworkshops Perform other duties as assigned Specific Project - Related Responsibilities will include: Prepare Solid Waste Management Facility permit documents, constructionplans, and specifications for facilities including landfills, recyclingfacilities, transfer stations, and convenience centers Prepare Part B Permit Appl cation Documents and associated permit documentsfor Industrial Facilities Prepare permit documents, construction plans, and specifications forremedial actions related to Voluntary, RCRA, and CERCLA clean-up actions #J-18808-Ljbffr
