Pinsy Shapewear, a dynamic Los Angeles-based D2C startup in the beauty/fashion space, seeks a talented Social Media Specialist to join our growing team in a contract-to-hire role. You'll be the mastermind behind our engaging TikTok and Instagram Reels content, driving brand awareness and propelling sales.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a data-driven social media strategy for TikTok and Instagram Reels, aligned with brand objectives.
Conceptualize, script, and edit high-quality, short-form video content that resonates deeply with our target audience (filming or sourcing high-quality footage as needed).
Stay at the forefront of TikTok and Instagram Reels trends, leveraging challenges, hashtags, and emerging strategies to maximize impact.
Analyze platform insights and continuously optimize content performance through data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate closely with internal marketing and branding teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
Manage social media calendars and scheduling tools. (Limited travel may be required for potential on-site content creation.)
Qualifications:
Proven track record of creating engaging and successful social media content, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram Reels. (A strong portfolio is required.)
Expertise in video editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro).
In-depth understanding of social media marketing principles and the ability to translate brand messaging into captivating short-form videos.
Strong grasp of the beauty/fashion industry and its target audience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong collaboration within the team.
