As the Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, maximizing contract value, and aligning with company financial, strategic, and program objectives.
Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and direction for project execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders.
Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring that project deliverables meet or exceed their needs.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance project execution.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring that all project activities comply with applicable regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the metals industry or a related field.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
Ability to travel domestically and abroad as project requires
