Job Description
We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the food equipment industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Process Engineer to their team. Responsibilities include:
1) Proficient in batch handling, processing, packaging, CIP/COP, pasteurization, filtration, and heat exchanger systems
2) Identify suitable pumps and valve components for various applications
3) Proficient in instrumentation and control systems
4) Competence in developing process flow, piping, and instrumentation diagrams, as well as utility/equipment matrices, timelines, SOPs, and SSOPs
5) Create performance specifications for process equipment and obtain quotations
6) Recognize process improvement opportunities by conducting analysis and implementing action plans
7) Adherence to established engineering policies and procedures
8) Collaborate with internal resources and project team members to secure support
9) Proficient in requisitioning essential parts and equipment
10) Competence in managing or supervising field personnel
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the food equipment industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in engineering
