Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator Location (city, state): Billerica, MA Compensation: $31.00 / Hourly Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Position Summary The Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the accounting function by ensuring vendor invoices are accurately entered, properly coded, approved, and supported with appropriate documentation. This position assists with weekly payment cycles, including check runs and ACH payments, performs vendor reconciliations, and helps maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records. The role also supports month-end close activities related to payables and provides general clerical and administrative assistance to the accounting team. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and dependability are essential for success in this position. Duties and Responsibilities Accurately enter and process accounts payable invoices in the accounting system Review invoices to ensure proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and vendor reconciliations Maintain organized accounts payable files, vendor records, and related documentation Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Provide clerical and administrative support to the accounting department as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Associate degree in accounting or a related field preferred Minimum of two years of accounts payable experience required Experience with accounting software preferred; NetSuite experience a plus Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Proficient PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
