This person is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping and compliance with internal policies and GAAP standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses strong communication skills. The role is part of a fast-paced team that focuses on providing accurate financial information for internal and external use in a timely manner.In this role, you will:Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.Perform bank and account reconciliations.Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.Help maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.We are looking for people who:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1-3 years of accounting experience preferredSolid understanding of basic accounting principles and practicesStrong verbal and written communication skillsDetail orientedAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is a plusSome of our competitive benefits include:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous paid time off401(k) plan that includes employer matching fundsEducation assistance planLife insurance and disability coverageWork Location: 805 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA 01821Factorial Energy is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
