Location: Based in Indianapolis, IN, but can be remote Bierman Autism Centers is looking for a full-time New Client Intake Specialist. In this role you will be the first point of contact with prospective families and plays a critical role in helping children with autism get the services they need. The Client Intake Specialist must enjoy interacting with people, be empathetic, compassionate, and have a high desire to help others. The Client Intake Specialist is responsible for helping families navigate the intake process and collect the necessary forms and clinical documents needed to schedule tours and intake appointments. In addition, this role is responsible for answering questions and educating families about our services. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar client-facing role. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for families in need of services and help families navigate the steps of the intake process Work closely with potential client parents’ inbound calls Collect needed forms and clinical documentation for authorization of services Enter and organize prospective client information and received paperwork or clinical documentation into various electronic platforms Answer questions related to our services and help educate families regarding the best treatments for children with autism Schedule appointments/ tours and coordinate with teams across locations Assist the clinical teams in gathering background information regarding each prospective client before tours or intake assessments Interact with the billing and clinical teams via daily meetings or as needed Follow up with families after scheduled tours for feedback and direction on next steps Other tasks as needed/necessary Desired Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate with empathy Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Thrives in a fact paced environment Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to easily adapt to change Basic & Physical Requirements Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication though computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
