Job Description
Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly journal entries and account reconciliation in a multi-company environment.
**
Key Accountabilities: ** ** __**
Accounts Payable:
Maintain vendor files and related tax info
Process, code, and enter invoices into accounts payable system
Process staff travel expense reports
Reconcile receipts to monthly consolidated Mastercard and American Express invoices
Pay vendors weekly via checks or ACH/wire
Perform month-end closing procedures
Calculate and pay quarterly chapter rebates
Prepare year-end 1099’s to vendors
Accounts Receivable:
Batch management of Salesforce database, Nimble, including batch reconciliation
Process refunds
Process, reconcile, and print advertising and general sales invoices
Responsible for collections and follow-up of outstanding accounts receivables balances
General:
Journal entry preparation
Maintain Sales and Use Tax
Reconciliation of accounts
Assist with month-end closing
Assist with department projects
General office support
Customer service backup
Filing
Assist with annual audit
Perform other duties as assigned
**
Required Skills or Experience: **
An accounting associate’s or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of accounting experience.
Computer skills must include Microsoft Office Suite. Oracle NetSuite and association software is a plus.
Must be able to read and write in English, be able to multitask and have good communication skills.
Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently.
Must be detail-oriented and have strong problem solving and business interaction skills.
Must have the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Flexibility in work schedule and ability to travel as needed.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Membership is individual or corporate and is made up of three markets, including: metalcasters and producers of metal cast parts; metalcasting suppliers; and casting buyers/original equipment manufacturers. Student membership is also extended to future leaders of the metalcasting industry at a nominal cost.
