Environmental Project Manager Location: Denver, CO Kleinfelder, a leading engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our Mountain Area team. The role focuses on managing environmental permitting and regulatory compliance projects for transportation clients, overseeing a growing team of professionals, and supporting business development efforts. Responsibilities Provide environmental permitting and regulatory compliance support to transportation clients, including hazardous materials and remediation, SPCC, stormwater, biological resources, and NEPA compliance projects. Develop and manage a small but expanding team of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance practitioners. Lead client development and project management activities, acting as the primary point of contact with key regional clients. Collaborate with cross?disciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. Assist in business development activities and provide technical expertise during proposal development. Travel locally or out of town as needed (up to 20% of the time). Comply with Kleinfelders Project Manager Qualification System and complete the qualification card. Qualifications Minimum 78+ years of consulting experience, with 45+ years in environmental permitting, planning, and compliance within the transportation market. 12 years of supervisory or management experience. Bachelor of Science degree in environmental, geosciences, or engineering. Strong knowledge of hazardous materials and remediation, SPCC, stormwater, biological resources, and NEPA regulations in the western U.S. Proven ability to manage a team of environmental professionals. Self?starter with the ability to work independently or within a group. Experience mentoring and training junior staff. Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency. Excellent communication and client?facing skills. Benefits Competitive salary range: $116,691$173,268 (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act).
