At AEI Consultants, we believe that a diverse team is essential for our success, and we strive to attract, develop, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds.To learn more about us: AEI Careers Site / AEI Culture HandbookSalary: $65,000- $75,000 per yearResponsibilitiesConduct site visits and file reviewsInterview site personnelUpload site visit photos, documents, research, interviews, etc. to writing platformEnvironmental reviewsState and federal regulatory program file reviewsBasic understanding of commercial real estate lending and financePerformance of environmental due diligence projectsQualificationsPrevious experience performing environmental due diligence projects, such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) requiredPrevious experience performing Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) projects focused on Agency lenders and Agency investor platforms in the commercial real estate sectorMust be willing to travel nationwide on a weekly basisExcellent writing, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills requiredPersonable and able to communicate with people at all levelsMust be a self-starter, resourceful, and have the ability to work productively on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staffEducationBachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or related fieldLicenses / CertificationsActive AHERA certificationCurrent OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification, asbestos inspector, and/or lead-based paint certification and/or Radon certification preferredPhysical RequirementsThe work environment may be both indoors and outdoors. Indoor work takes place in a typical office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Outdoor work requires the ability to effectively perform work in all types of weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, type, handle office and/or field equipment, speak and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, balance, kneel or crouch. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
