About Us:

Ed Voyles is a leading automotive dealership dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to start their career in accounting within the dealership industry, with plenty of room for growth and learning.

Pay Range: $16-$18.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate data entry for financial transactions and maintain organized records.
  • Assist in preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and reports.
  • Support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage filing systems and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the sales and service departments to track financial transactions and inventory.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop accounting skills and knowledge of dealership operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, CDK Global, etc.).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
