Our client is seeking a seasoned Director of Accounting to join their team and play a critical role in their rapid growth journey. What Youll Do:

  • Lead the Charge: Take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring its completed efficiently within 5-6 days.
  • Financial Reporting: Collaborate with senior management to deliver polished, formal financial reports to the private equity firm.
  • Cash Management: Oversee treasury functions, including cash management and borrowing strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of seven dedicated accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Control and Compliance: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain robust financial controls.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the implementation of new systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Professional: You bring 10-15 years of solid accounting experience, preferably in food manufacturing, but manufacturing experience is a must.
  • Educational Background: MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have experience in both public and private sectors, and youve successfully navigated the challenges of a fast-growing company.
  • Adaptable Leader: You thrive in environments with significant change and have a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
