This role is the centralized global event and experiences leader, serving as the primary point of contact for strategy decisions, integrated team orchestration for experiences, and follow-through measurement. This role will oversee all corporate owned (1st party) and sponsored (3rd party) events, virtual and physical. Defining and upholding the brand is paramount, along with a keen vision for growth and excitement over time. As a systems thinker, this new hire will ensure streamlined, unified strategies across our organization, regardless of location. This leader will be the architect of many important customer journey experiences with Neo4j, and we’re looking for an innovator who is excited to take creative swings and help us grow our brand.
Core Responsibilities Include:

Includes third-party conferences, webinars and virtual events.
Event Vision & Communication: Develop and voice corporate event vision in all wider forums, driving clarity and decision-making for progress. Communicate effectively and quickly about schedules and scope, driving clarity and efficiency for your team and others. When changes arrive, your experience allows quick problem-solving because you have done this before.
Integrated Event & Experience Planning: Events are moments along the journey, so integrated planning is imperative for a consistent experience. For Corporate Events, oversee integrated planning from briefing through measurement, ensuring on-track communications and execution.
Expand Creativity: Develop ‘what if’ scenarios that bring our brand to life in exciting, new, and intelligent ways, in partnership with brand, creative, and content. Explore untapped experiences, physical and virtual, well-established or pop-up, to target and delight our personas in a polished way. Consider new ideas, things to discontinue, or doing things entirely differently for near or future horizons. Draft clear and comprehensive event briefs documenting your vision for scale, efficiency, and clarity.
Event Definition and Adoption: With your team and others, define & refine all event definitions and standards with agreed-upon objectives, measurements, and materials for execution, globally. Iterate on the event types and details as the company evolves, always driving adoption and clarity. Oversee the development of event kits, guidelines, scorecards, and other materials in some cases.
Uphold Operational Excellence: Guide event team to deliver event execution excellence, including global adoption of shared event tools, integrations, timeliness, and production value.
Lead by Example: Encourage ideas, positivity, and adaptation with a small team of three alongside agency partners. Drive quick decision-making, diplomacy, and follow through with integrity. Identify gaps and resource management for ebb and flow.
