TK Elevator is seeking a Parts Coordinator - Service in Tampa, FL.

Responsible for performing all administrative duties associated with the service operations department so that the department functions efficiently and cost effectively.

Essential Job Functions
  • Creates parts requisitions and receives parts, including researching and ordering parts. Updates mechanics with parts and materials delivery status. Reviews weekly report of un-received invoices.
  • Coordinates the receiving of incoming materials and parts. Assists in the loading, unloading and moving of materials and supplies within the warehouse area; operates a forklift to move heavy material; physically lifts materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Prepares material for shipment to job sites. Includes coordinating the delivery of parts as requested on a timely manner.
  • Provides technical assistance relative to part identification, interchangeability, and source availability.
  • Ensures that the work area is kept clean and neat.
  • Provides status to National Accounts and customers on open work orders and completed callbacks. Updates evening ticket as needed.
  • Completes manual payroll entry forms, includes daily DVR processing and cost corrections.
  • Provides reporting and research support for Operations Manager.
  • Creates safety inspection tickets and monitors pre-invoicing reports.
  • Assigns tickets to mechanics, as needed. Creates safety inspection tickets.
  • Codes local Accounts Payable invoices and forwards to Service Center.

Required Education and Experience
  1. High school diploma or GED (general education degree) required
  2. TKE to provide forklift training.
  3. Efficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word)
  4. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
