As a Respiratory Therapy Tech with us, you will provide professional respiratory therapy services to children under a licensed respiratory therapist within the framework of physicians' orders, care team guidelines, and care plans. Benefits + $20/hr base wage Schedule + 8-12 hour shifts, part-time 24 hours per week + Day and overnight opportunities available. What You'll Do + Within the respiratory therapy scope of practice, physician’s orders, and the child’s care plan, provide a range of respiratory services including inhaled medication therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, PEP therapy, CPAP therapy and BIPAP therapy. Assist with care of artificial airways. + Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by respiratory therapy standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures. + Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with children, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure assigned child’s care needs are assessed, communicated, and met. What You'll Need + Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, one year of coursework completed. + Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain. + PALS certification encouraged. + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand. + Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language. + This position is subject to COVID-19 safety regulations.
