Job Title: Respiratory Therapy Tech

At ChildServe, we're seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapy Tech to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapy Tech, you will provide high-quality respiratory therapy services to children under the guidance of licensed respiratory therapists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inhaled medication therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, PEP therapy, CPAP therapy, and BIPAP therapy within the scope of practice and physician's orders.
  • Assist with care of artificial airways and maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by respiratory therapy standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with children, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to ensure assigned child's care needs are assessed, communicated, and met.
Requirements:
  • Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with one year of coursework completed.
  • Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
  • PALS certification encouraged.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
