About the Role:
As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II, you will be a key member of our healthcare team, providing essential services to patients. Your primary responsibilities include drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Phlebotomy:
    • Perform accurate and efficient blood draws on patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
    • Prepare and label blood specimens according to established procedures.
    • Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Patient Care:
    • Greet and interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
    • Explain procedures clearly and answer patient questions.
    • Create a positive and reassuring environment for patients.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.
    • Maintain accurate records and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a patient service center environment.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service setting.
