This position will provide thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders, including our sales and marketing teams and functional leadership. In addition, this role will work directly with customer-facing representatives and cross-functional peers in the analysis of opportunities and related forecasts. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Translating brand and market trends into actionable business observations and recommendations to achieve both McCormick and customer goals and objectives. * Providing analysis and shopper insight-driven recommendations supporting our annual business plans include all key business drivers: merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving (MAPS). * Leveraging all available analytic tools to develop trade strategies maximizing McCormick's performance metrics. * Provide insight and direction into the development of new item business plans and support the Commercial Review process by participating in the forecast development to ensure customer requirements are met. * Developing collaborative cross-functional relationships with internal and customer-facing stakeholders. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in business, Marketing, Management Finance, or related field * Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, finance, marketing, or business management * Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience building fact-based presentations or direct selling experience to retailers * Proven capability of working in a team environment * Strong analytic skills, and demonstrated ability to translate insights pulled from large amounts of data into actionable business recommendations that deliver positive results * Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to analyze and understand the data and then effectively communicate those insights to both internal and external audiences * Ability to react quickly and complete tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines * Ability to work in cross-functional teams, self-motivated and team-oriented PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum of 2 years of Category Management experience is strongly preferred * Direct experience selling to retailers or distributors * Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office #LI-SM1 McCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
