Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Level 1 Sales Associate (with product management involvement) focusing on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in sustainable technologies, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn the ins and outs of sales and product management. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth in the renewable energy sector. You will be working in a high-growth startup that has survived the first two years and has a track record in renewables. We had over 1.3 million $USD in sales in 2023 based on the strength of our product alone with a very limited sales staff. Our battery business is currently small, but the product has great potential. You will have the opportunity to work both domestically and internationally both on the supply chain and sales ends of the business. The opportunity to manage a whole line of products is rare, especially in a technical B-to-B environment. We also have the backing of strong investors including our battery supplier which will very much benefit your ability to sell and generate commission (3% of all sales). You will also be mentored by CEO, Paul Shmotolokha, who has 32 years of experience in International Sales. As a recent college graduate, it is rare opportunity to learn from an individual with this much experience. We are an experienced team looking forward to adding more younger members Responsibilities: 1. Sales Responsibilities: • Primary Focus on Battery sales to: 1. Distributors 2. Business users 3. Possibly retail • Assist in the development and execution of sales and pricing strategies • Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and communicate the benefits of our products. • Attend trade shows 2. Customer Relationship Management: • Support the maintenance and cultivation of positive relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. • Address customer inquiries, provide product information, and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements. 3. Product Coordination: • Collaborate with product development teams to understand the technical aspects of lithium iron phosphate batteries and solar trailers. • Assist in managing product lifecycles, from concept to market launch and beyond. 4. Market Research: • Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. • Compile and analyze data to contribute to informed decision-making regarding product features and market positioning. 5. Administrative Tasks: • Assist in the preparation of sales reports, presentations, and other documentation. • Assist in the production of useful marketing materials relevant to the products at hand: datasheets, website pages, online marketplace listings, brochures, etc. • Manage inventory quantities and customer feedback Qualifications: • Associate’s (minimum) or Bachelor’s (preferred) degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. • Strong passion for renewable energy and sustainability. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Dogged entrepreneurial attitude towards building new customer relationships • Ability to learn quickly (particularly technical concepts) and adapt to a dynamic work environment. • Basic understanding of sales principles and product management concepts. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. • Proficient in specialized software relevant to their educational background (e.g. Google AdWords, Website Design, CAD, etc.) Benefits: • Competitive entry-level salary and performance-based incentives. • $3,800 per month base • 3% commission on all sales (est. sales Yr1 $300k) • Eligible for Stock Options after 6 months • Comprehensive training and mentorship program. • Opportunities for career advancement within the renewable energy industry. • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in lithium iron phosphate batteries and solar trailers. • Opportunities for responsibility and ownership over a product early in a career.
