We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative based in Seattle, Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling medical devices to our clients, who are innovative surgical magnification/illumination industry leaders. Their products are used worldwide in life-saving microsurgical operations and cutting-edge dental procedures.
This position is open to applicants with 1-3 years of successful sales experience or related professional work experience. We would also consider recent college graduates with the right background.
Territory:
This is a home-based position in Seattle, covering all of Washington state, the portion of Idaho between WA and MT, and the western portion of MT, including Missoula, Helena, and Butte.
Travel:
The role requires approximately 4-6 monthly overnight stays to cover the entire territory. Additionally, you will be expected to attend work conferences and trade shows one weekend a month, 4 to 6 times yearly.
You will join a growing company and sell our client's surgical and dental visual enhancement. You will call on surgeons, hospitals, operating rooms, dentists, dental hygienists, surgical residency programs, dental schools, dental hygienist schools, and ophthalmologists.
Responsibilities and Duties:
85% of your activity will involve following up on leads provided by the company. You will also meet with medical doctors, dental professionals, and hygienists who want to see you throughout your exclusive territory. In addition, our client attends several dozen professional conferences each year. The sales representatives will work at these meetings, typically four to six annually.
Qualifications and Skills:
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, be organized and self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. They must also enjoy travel.
