Location: This Change Manager position is based in Reston, VA.

Travel: None.

Remote Schedule: Will work as part of an overall team to provide needed coverage and support with remote work capability according to mission schedules.


Security Clearance: Must be a United States Citizen and hold a current TS-SCI security clearance.

Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.

Responsibilities:

As the IT Change Manager, you will assume responsibility for the seamless orchestration of all IT-related changes across the production and developmental Mission Networks within the Agency. Your mandate encompasses the full spectrum of change management, from inception to execution, ensuring a smooth transition through planning, design, implementation, testing, and release phases for both hardware and software systems. Your pivotal role is to guarantee the efficient implementation of changes, minimizing disruptions while maximizing operational efficacy, all the while meticulously tracking and reporting on progress.

This position demands a seasoned IT professional adept at delivering change management support, processes, and services tailored to meet the dynamic demands of the business. You will be tasked with devising innovative solutions to intricate challenges, often operating with autonomy and potentially assuming a mentoring or supervisory role within the team.

A Bachelor's degree coupled with 5+ years of directly relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of directly relevant experience, is preferred. However, significant years of hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree, and certifications may also be accepted in place of academic qualifications for certain roles.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience implementing and supporting IT Change Management throughout the entire IT lifecycle of system.
  • Experience tracking and reporting all problems and changes across multiple networks.
  • Experience working and collaborating with multiple teams to capture change requests
  • Experience with BMC Remedy tool.
  • Experience coordinating, facilitating, and leading Change Request review meetings with all stakeholders.
  • Security+ CE or 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Desired:

  • Experience communicating Change Management objectives, timelines, risks, and mitigations.
  • Ability to regularly report on the status of changes to stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile, ITIL framework and IT Service Management
  • Knowledge of Remedy Incident, Problem, Knowledge, and Reporting modules.
