We have more than 100 locations across our 45-county territory, and we are one of the largest nonprofits in Metro Atlanta.Our marketing department is looking for an enthusiastic college junior, senior or recent graduate who wants to put what he or she has learned in class into practice while working on a variety of exciting projects. This is a hybrid opportunity where the intern will work from our Decatur office on Monday-Tuesday and remotely Wednesday-Friday on an 8-hourday, 40-hourweek period. On remote days, the intern is required to be actively working on day-to-day assignments and projects while remaining available via email andor phone.The intern will work alongside a team of professionals with experience in advertising, broadcast journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, and more.This is a paid internship opportunity. Students will build their resumes with real-world experience, learn and network with experienced professionals and benefit from working for an organization that helps the community.What youu0027ll be doing:Create engaging organic content for Tik Tok, Instagram and other social channelsUtilize social publishing tools for post schedulingAssist with email marketing campaignsCreate flyers and other collateral using template and brand elementsAssist with photovideo shootsDigitally engage with customers and track sentimentTrack engagement sentiment of paid social adsHelp organize department forms and documentsHelp create content for employee app, website, and other channels as assignedOther duties as assignedRequirements:Must be availableto work full-time for the duration of the internship: May 22, 2023-July 21, 2023; 8-hour days and 40-hour weeks on a 9am-5pm schedule (Monday u0026Tuesday in office; Wednesday-Friday remote, but attendance at events will be required)Must have completed collegiate coursework through sophomore year (rising juniors, seniors, and recent graduates) in advertising, marketing, journalism or a related fieldKnowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and conceptsShould be goal-orientedStrong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and set prioritiesMust be self-motivated and have effective presentation skillsExcellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills requiredMust be able to solve problems and function independently in a fast-paced work settingKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other graphics andor presentation softwareKnowledge of social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and other applicable channelsMust have reliable mode of transportationThe dates of the internship will be May 22, 2023 to July 21, 2023. You must be available to work full-time during this period. 8-hour days and 40-hour weeks on a 9am to 5 pm schedule.Hybrid schedule: Monday-Tuesday (in office); Wednesday-Friday (remote, but attendance at events will be required)Preferred (not required):Experience using CanvaFamiliarity with Adobe Suite (Premier Pro, InDesign, etc.)Videophoto editing experienceGoodwill of North Georgia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
