Job Responsibilities
 

Prospect and call potential customers First point of contact for phone and web inquiries, including basic applications support and referral to appropriate channels. Facilitate and manage product samples and technical document requests and capture all pertinent data. Manage process for potential sale. Power user of CRM , daily interaction, logging all pertinent activity and customer notes, manager and updating pipeline. Understand the needs and the expectations of the customers. Report or provide relevant solutions if necessary. Work closely with cross-functional team to maximize short and long-term profitable growth. Channel and log suggestions, inquires and complaints to the appropriate people/systems. Market research and investigation to related competitive products and marketing strategies. Develop a clear understanding of how commodity futures markets influence pricing of products. Follow determined reporting structures and report compilation.
STRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Able to complete an internship in the summer (May/June-August 2024)Must be geographically flexible to relocate to ADM sites Pursuing a four-year degree in Sales, Business, Agriculture-related, or science related field with an anticipated graduation between December 2024 and Summer 2026 Preferred GPA of 2.8 or greater Knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareAbility to function effectively, both independently and with a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organizationADM requires the successful completion of a background check.Outgoing personality with eagerness to assist customers via phone, web, and trade shows

INTERNSHIP DETAILS Internships are 10-12 weeks in duration Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work Interns who demonstrate high potential and engagement may be offered another internship if still pursuing a degree, or a full-time position after graduation
