Essential Functions Aware of the implications of applying new/differing technology to the current business or clinical environment, utilizes research and analysis, along with an understanding of relevant business or clinical systems and industry requirements, to define medium-to large sized systems scopes and objectives, for developing new, or improving existing, information systems. Performs business analysis, working with users to define their needs and then documenting those requirements. Collaborates with others to troubleshoot issues with existing systems. Remains current with business or clinical requirements and needs, based upon future industry trends and changes, and understands the implications for existing technology. Responsible for all aspects of the software maintenance, administration and development lifecycle in support of the Organization’s Enterprise Applications Serving as a liaison between Payroll and Finance to provide systems support and analysis for Payroll and Financial configurations and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of associated information system users. Leading continuous improvement cycles of existing and new business processes for Payroll and Finance. Creating reports and dashboards on weekly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc basis, including a deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touch points with Human Capital Management and Supply Chain Management. Workday Report Writer with deep knowledge of dashboards, worksheets, embedded analytics, and future report specific functionality. Work with functional leads to create functional requirements and assist business analyst with configuration activities. Responsible for the configuration, documentation, and management of all Payroll technical processes and the Foundation Data Model. Works with and collaborates with Finance functional areas for Workday testing of new releases. This includes all areas under Finance (General Ledger, Payroll, Expense, AP, etc.). Keeps up-to-date on Payroll and Finance Workday related system enhancements and attends trainings and webinars to acquire additional knowledge. Assists in developing training curriculum and conducts formal and informal training sessions regarding Payroll and Finance Systems. Provides mentorship to less senior team members and is accountable as a role model for customer service excellence. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5 years of relevant experience in Payroll, Compensation, and/or Finance Preferred Experience in systems support, requirements gathering, and design Workday experience, including report writing Background in health care, sciences or information systems
