We offer services ranging from comprehensive short-term rehabilitation and transitional care to Alzheimer's and dementia care.Your role as a Community Life - Activity Director (Therapeutic Recreational Director)As the Community Life - Activity Director at The Oaks Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, you will engage with our residents daily to design and implement a variety of therapeutic recreational activities. Expect to lead programs that include arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social events that promote cognitive and physical well-being. You'll be responsible for assessing individual resident needs and interests, ensuring each activity is tailored to foster inclusion and enjoyment.Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you time to plan engaging activities in advance. You'll also collaborate with fellow team members and families, build relationships, and foster a warm, inviting community atmosphere.
