In beBee Professionals, we are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist with expertise in speech and language to fill a vital role in Meridian, United States. As a key member of our team, you will assess and treat individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Role Overview:This position requires a licensed professional with the ability to evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients with complex communication needs and create tailored treatment plans to improve their communication skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records to facilitate effective communication among team members.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to empower them in managing their communication challenges.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- A current SLP license in the United States is essential for this role.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult cases, is highly desirable.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification is preferred but not required.
